ENTEROUR PATH FORWARD
ZAPOT.E.K brings nursing and public health into relationship with Indigenous-led land stewardship to strengthen the connections among land, community, and health. Through cultural fire and other land-based practices, we explore how caring for land can also be a way of caring for one another.
OUR HORIZON
We envision nursing that understands health in relationship with land—and learns to walk alongside the communities who carry that knowledge and responsibility.
